Simeon Stafford - Winter scene is a large-scale oil painting by the fantastic Northern-born / Southern-based artist. This example of Stafford's work is appealing in its scenic beauty, yet at the same time uses a colour palette more akin to Helen Bradley. In my opinion, this makes the painting very interesting indeed and is an image and composition I haven't seen a great deal.
