Sarah Connell - The Lowry Theatre is a small original painting of the artist's hometown of Manchester. In this painting, Sarah explores the fascinating geometry of the buildings and architecture around one of the cities most interesting locations, the Lowry Centre, which houses a massive collection of original and printed works by Lowry and has a Theatre and thriving shopping centre. For this painting, Sarah tried a new type of textured board for which she left a few patches at the top of the painting bare.
