Josef Herman Signed Ltd Ed Print - The First Star.  Josef Herman Signed Ltd Ed Print - Four Fisherwomen.  Josef Herman wasn't a prolific printmaker although by the end of his career there were around 27 individual releases of Lithographs, which was his favoured method of printmaking. He also added one final flourish of prints which would eclipse in number everything he had done previously, with a portfolio of 52 lithographs. This example is from his 1974 period, during which over two years he released 9 lithographs in conjunction with the famous Curwen Studios. Our example has never previously been framed and is in perfect condition.
