Jerry Gordon - Manchester Madonna’s is an original painting completed by Jerry for our summer show, This painting is inspired by two classical religious paintings, the first is the mother and child on the left of the canvas, and they are inspired by Raphael's The Cowper Madonna. The second is the two figures on the right of the canvas which are inspired by Da Vinci's Madonna Litta. Both are compositional nods to two very famous paintings.
