Ian Layton - Ambleside Lake district is a small original painting created by the Yorkshire-based artist. This painted was completed on a trip to the Lake District which is a favourite subject for Ian and one that he has enjoyed painting a great deal over the years. Conservatively sized and painted 'Plein Air' which means it was painted at this location. His depiction of the light in this painting creates a superb atmosphere.
