1955 - Born Sunday 8th May, 2:30, Fleetwood Lancashire England.
1959 - Move to a bungalow in nearby town of Thornton Cleveleys, Lancashire.
1960 - Start school at Manor Drive Infants School Cleveleys.
1963 - Move up to Beach Road Primary School
1966 - School reports indicate consistent high marks for art and drawing. Mutiny on Bounty Film on TV big impact.
1967 - Move up to Millfield Secondary Modern School Thornton.
Art & Technical Drawing best subjects, consistent high marks.
1969 – Seasonal jobs washing dishes and eventual promotion to cooking burgers in Blackpool Cafes. Hand paint Lambretta scooter.
1971 -75 - GCE ‘O’ Levels, Art & Technical Drawing.
1975 - Promotion to ICI’s research HQ - Welwyn Garden City, Herts.
1976 - Drive to St. Tropez, (with Mac). Inspired by painters there in ‘plein air’.
1977 - Paint a series of world flags- poster- paint on paper. College for ICI and getting good at line drawings of chemical processes – City & Guilds cert.
1978 - Marry school sweetheart Tricia. Buy property and settle into married life. Drawing as a hobby and paint abstracts via poster- paint on paper.
1980 - Resign from ICI, work as sales rep’ in advertising space sales. Work in wood - make a series of wooden puzzles. Continue painting and drawing.
1982 - Profit from two house sales. Make own drawings – variety of subjects.
1983 - ‘A’ level Sociology at Blackpool & Fylde College.
1984 - Move to Manchester to begin University course. Separation from Tricia. Many visits to Manchester City Art Gallery; enjoy Pre-Rapahaelites particularly colours of Holman Hunt.
1985 – Sale of marital home Cleveleys. Buy house in Rusholme, Manchester. Write poetry and begin to make sketches of contemporaries.
1986 - Travel to USA on University exchange programme. (5 months). Travel 18 States in VW Camper Van. On return from USA create Studio in house in Rusholme. Paint homage to Renoir’s Luncheon of the Boating Party and charcoal of Vincent Van Gogh’s Sorrow.
1987 - Work as Social Worker in Birmingham. Attend evening classes Life- Drawing. Buy house in Yardley.
1988 - Buy a Liverpool house. Sell Birmingham house. Work as Liverpool SW. Continue to make pictures in back- room studio. Paint portraits.
1989 - Travel Europe (2months) including old iron-curtain countries. e.g. Visit Hermitage - (Leningrad) now St. Petersburg. Take photographs & make many drawings of Sacred Sites whilst on this Grand Tour.
Perform Poetry weekly at Liverpool’s Everyman Theatre 3rd Room.
Desk-Top publish poetry.
1990 – Sale proceeds from Birmingham house, resign from Liverpool Social Work. Rent out Liverpool house. Spend 8 months in studio Catalonia – fishing village, Palamos. Then 4months in Lake District painting.
1991 - Return UK - Summer Cumbria - Lake District. Autumn return to house in Liverpool. P/t Social Work for Cheshire – build up arts project Portfolio.

1993 - Travel South- Seas via New Zealand to Pitcairn Island. Sail to Tahiti. Visit Gauguin Museum. Return to UK after 6 months to complete

- Convert Liverpool home to a gallery - stage exhibition of current Portfolio.
1994 - Create Fletcher Christian portrait with Merseyside Police - wide interest generated from around world.
- Exhibitions in Cumbria (Fletcher’s Birth county). Workington, Keswick & Cockermouth.
- Found art group Daubs, create a painting project with Liverpool City Council. Exhibition at Greenbank Project.
1995 - Sale - Bounty Bay painting Bonham’s, Knightsbridge. Then, sale of belongings; furnishings, VW car, house. Embarkation for World Travel & quest to paint Sacred Sites from differing world faiths from Greece & Turkey to India & Israel, from Egypt & Crete to Trinidad. Make Studio in Trinidad Sept’ 95 – Feb’ 96 & paint many paintings of Sacred Sites.
1996 - Establish Studio, Wembley. Sale of 3 paintings to Cadogan family, Knightsbridge.
1997 - Organise national tour Sacred Sites millennium. Gain Portraiture commissions also
1998 - 2000 Tour of Sacred Sites (Salisbury, Bolton, Blackpool, London, Uxbridge, Lancaster.

2005 – Girlfriend pregnant. Resume Social Work – firstly in Brent on a permanent contract and then move back to Rusholme Manchester to buy house and work for MCC as agency staff. Buy VW Golf.
2006 – Daughter, born 5th June at St. Mary’s Maternity Hospital.
Resume 2year study at University of London, Birkbeck College, Life Long Learning Diploma. Attend weekend classes.
2007 – Buy another 2 bedded terraced house. This time in Oldham.
Gain commissions to paint a Liverpool house under snow.
Lead art workshops for Oldham MBC, Life Long Learning department, ‘brighter the colour the brighter the mood’

2008 – Buy another 2 bedded terraced house near Swansea. Make artwork for Swansea. Complete study in London, gain Diploma. Exhibit ‘Oldham Daubs’ at Gallery Oldham. Make loan of paintings to Oldham Life long learning dept for continued exhibition in library.
2010 – Continue London Underground Project begun in 1999.
Brief resumption to University of Manchester on MA Philosophy, work commitments interrupt.
2011 – Drive through Sahara and down west coast of Africa then inland to Timbuktu on expedition with 19 friends for Fragile X.
Begin work on book of trip to Timbuktu (and back again). Publish on Amazon.
Sell Golf, buy VW Camper Van.
Make several paintings of Birmingham skyline and canal system.
Continue to work on autobiography.
2012 – Convert Crafter Van into mobile art studio. Make abstract paintings. Whilst earning money on short term social work contracts.
2013 - Studio at Hope Mill Manchester.
2014 – Climb Mount Kenya.
Publish book, ‘Little Art Book Big Ideas' on Amazon. Front cover design and painting by daughter.
2015 – Mother dies 16th January 2015.
Exhibition and celebrate 60th at Hope Mill studio.

Son born in North Manchester Maternity Hospital on 29th August 2015.
2016 –Exhibition of Oldham ‘Daubs’ at Werneth Hall. Paintings remain on loan to Oldham MBC. Resume work for Birmingham City Council in same role.
